6mm Thick Cork Underlay

Natural cork underlay provide exceptional sound reduction capabilities in addition to insulation and comfort underfoot. The cork is harvested from the bark of the Cork Oak tree without harm to the tree. An environmentally friendly option for naturally healthy living. Cork quiets both hardwood and laminate floors. The noise of foot traffic in the installed room and adjacent rooms alike are reduced. Cork can be used above, below and on grade. When installing over concrete floors you must purchase an additional moisture barrier for use with cork underlay.

Redux® Acoustical Reduction Underlayment

Our best foam rubber underlayment. Redux can be used in both commercial and residential applications. Redux reduces same room foot traffic noise as well as reduces sound transmission to adjacent rooms and lower levels. Redux is for use under both engineered wood floors, laminate and cork floating floors. Specifically for use with the floating floor installation method, Redux provides a quieter surface by absorbing under floor vibration. Its flexible, dense construction and 3mm thickness assist in smoothing out minor subfloor irregularities. Use over both wood or concrete subfloors on or below grade.. Royal Walker®

A premium underlayment developed to reduce noise transmission for use under both hardwood and laminate floors. The unique engineering of this underlay allow it to interact with the floor system itself in a manner that produces a sound similar to that of traditional wood flooring. In addition to use under floating floors, Royal Walker can be used in double glue down applications for engineered and solid hardwood floors.

Silver series 3 in 1

The silver series 3 in 1 is a mid level laminate and hardwood flooring underlay. The silver series offers moderate sound absorption for laminate and hardwood flooring. The higher density 2mm thick foam comes with an foil moisture barrier backing. No additional moisture barrier is needed when using The Silver Series. This underlay is for use over both wooden or concrete subfloors.

2 in 1 Combo Foam Film

The 2 in 1 Combo Foam Film is the standard laminate floating floor underlay. The 2 in 1 Combo foam film can also be used under solid or engineered real hardwood floors as well. The 2 in 1 is a 2mm thick foam with a pre-attached moisture barrier. This underlay can be used over both wooden or concrete subfloors.

Trims & Accessories

T-Molding

Use this floor trim in doorways and areas when transitioning to a similar or same height floor. An example would be doorways where this floor is being installed in both rooms or areas where this floor is going to meet an existing floor of similar height. Reducer

Use this floor trim for transitioning down to adjoining lower floors. A good example of this use would be reducing down to a concrete or vinyl floor. Click Here for detailed installation instructions.

Stairnose

This trim allows you to install the flooring on your stairs. Use this trim on the edge of the stair tread to provide a curved wrap and build the rest of the step out of the new flooring material itself. Click Here for detailed installation instructions.

End cap

Also known as threshold or baby threshold, use this floor trim for transitions to carpet, masonry (fireplaces), sliding doors and other exterior door jambs. Click Here for detailed installation instructions.

Wallbase

Trim that attaches to the wall and covers the flooring expansion gap (typically 1/4 gap or more). Can be combined with a quarter round when covering larger expansion gaps. Click Here for detailed installation instructions.

Quarter Round

This is a wall trim. This is typically placed in front of an existing baseboard and covers the expansion gap required with many floors. It covers over the gap between the floor and the wall. Click Here for detailed installation instructions.

Installation kit

This kit is for use with laminate floors. The kit contains a pull bar, a tapping block and wall spacers. The pull bar is used for assistance in installing the last board next to the wall. The tapping block helps secure the edges of the planks tightly together during installation. The spacers are used between the wall and the flooring and provide the correctly spaced distance for the required expansion gap.
