Description: American Cherry has a highly desired natural blush tone and often referred to as the "furniture quality wood". The grain features significant depth. A notable characteristic of the species is its small darker brown gum veins throughout. The species is commonly used in flooring applications where a distinguished appearance is desired.
Color Change: American Cherry is light in tone when freshly cut and gradually over time deeps to a medium tone while remaining in its similar but slightly more reddish color range.
