Description Brazilian Teak & Brazilian Chestnut are the same species. Brazilian Teak is a dense hard wood with a range of colors varying from a tan brown to a reddish brown with some pieces offering a black striping.
Color Change: Brazilian Teak ranges from medium to darker range selections. The medium tone is a tan brownish color while the darker tone exudes a reddish brown color. While always exhibiting color variation, the Brazilian Teak color range will darken over time into a more uniform overall color.
