Description Ironwoods texture is very fine and even; grain straight to slightly wavy; somewhat lustrous. Its popularity is due to its overall tone being a rich and deep chocolate color with fine darker grain lines as the background. A very intriquing wood species. Used in art - fine furniture- displays- cabinetry - flooring.
