True Timber Premium Laminate Flooring:
- Medium-fine Gloss Luxury for less: True Timber's gloss piano finish delivers a rich, clean, almost glass-like appearance. The high gloss finish needs no wax and easy to maintain.
- Clean micro-bevel lines: Micro-bevel edge designs are created with enough depth to outline the full 5" width of the plank while maintaining the easy sweep surface of the True Timber collection.
- Dimensions: Each species in True Timber is approximately 4' long x 5" wide and 12 mm thick.
- Thickest & Quietest: The True Timber collection features a 12mm total thickness. This is the thickest and quietest laminate floor available.
- Higher Density, less denting: True Timber utilizes an HDF, High Density Fiberboard, core which results in greatly improved resistance to denting. This compares to MDF, Medium Density Fiberboard, cores used in the construction of many laminate floors.

Q. Do the True Timber laminate floors require special care because they appear more glossy?
A. The finish is the same with regards how it is maintained. The finish is Aluminum Oxide and requires no additional waxing. The level of gloss has been increased to a higher brilliance of luster.
Q. This is thicker than most laminates. Is the 12mm thickness measured with a combined attached underlayment or something?
A. The True Timber Collection is 12mm thick. There is no underlayment attached to this collection. The thickness is measured on the floor itself, not including any underlayment.
Q. Does the higher gloss mean it will scratch easier?
A. The improved gloss level consists of an Aluminum Oxide finish. This is what gives True Timber and all laminate floors the scratch, abrasion and wear resistance. True Timber does not scratch easier than standard gloss level floors.
Q. Can the True Timber Collection be used on an exterior deck that is covered with a roof (open walls)?
A. No, the True Timber Collection is for use indoors only, no exterior installations are approved.
Q. Is the True Timber Collection for use on stairs?
A. Yes, with a stairnose peice (8' long sticks) you can install the product on stairs by gluing it directly to the steps.
Q. Do I have to use a moisture barrier with this floor when installing over a concrete subfloor?
A. You will use an underlayment with a moisture barrier attached when installing over concrete. If you are using an underlayment without a moisture barrier already attached you will need to purchase a separate moisture barrier (plastic sheeting that comes in rolls) and install this over the concrete prior to rolling out the underlayment.
Q. If I damage a plank, can I uninstall and reinstall a new one in its place later on?
A. Yes, the True Timber Collection utilizes a 45 degree locking system that can be un-locked and re-locked later if needed.
Q. Does this collection have the individual planks with beveled edges?
A. True Timber does have individual 5" planks and a micro-beveled edge is milled on all 4 sides of the plank with this floor. By using full wood plank decors versus the 2 and 3 strip paneling looks, a solid wood floor appearance is the result.
