The Classic Collection Features
- Classic Clean Lines: Each plank has a precision milled 4 sided square edge for seamless appearing finished installation.
- Dimension: The Classic Collection features a 4' long, 8.3 mm thick plank.
- Silk finish: The new silk finish reduces the "plastic laminate" appearance and provides for greater grain depth found in much more expensive laminate flooring options.
- Forget 6&7mm: At this price you don't have to settle for less. The Classic Collection features a full 8.3 mm total thickness. Many floors found at this price point are of lower density 7mm quality.
- High Density: The Classic Collection utilizes an HDF, High Density Fiberboard core, resulting in improved resistance to denting. This is an advantage over MDF, Medium Density Fiberboard core typically used in the construction of floors at this price point.
- Aluminum Oxide: The Classics Collection is coated with an Aluminum Oxide finish, the most durable finish available to date. Guaranteed for 15 years, this provides for a low maintenance, no-wax floor that will look great year in, year out.
- Wood Grains: Classics Collection laminate floors feature a high quality non-porous laminate top decors for improved grain appearance.
- Stability: The fused, non-porous laminate back balancing board helps prevent warping and cupping of the laminate plank.
- No More Adhesive: The 7 9/16" plank design of the Classics collection features a glueless click system making installation faster and easier than ever.
- Accessorize: Exact Match doorway floor transition pieces for nearly every transition in your home. This includes doorway transitions to carpet, exterior doors, brick hearths, vinyl floors, and other wood or laminate floors of similar height. Stairnose trim and wall base are available as well.

- Documents: The 15 year wear warranty and installation instructions are packaged in each carton.
- Wear Rating: Official usage rating of AC2. This means the Classic Collection can be used in heavy residential applications.

Q. Does this collection have a pad underlay attached already?
A. No, it does not. The Genva-Loc collection is the next price point in laminate with a pre-attached underlayment.
Q. Can the Classic Collection be used in a retail showroom?
A. The Classic collection is rated AC2 and therefore is for heavy residential use but not commercial use.
Q. Is the Classic Collection moisture resistant?
A. While excessive moisture is not good for any laminate floor, some collections come with a Melamine infused core to provide a higher level of moisture resistance. The Classic Collection does not have a Melamine Infused core. All of the other laminate collections on simpleFLOORS have Moisture resistant cores.
Q. Does the Classic collection have matching floor, stair, and wall trim?
A. Yes, we carry a complete line of matching floor, stair, and wall trim for the colors in the Classic Collection.
Q. I need about 200 square feet (sf) more than the pallet size shown on the site. Do I get the special pallet price for the entire amount I need, or do I have to pay the higher price for the extra 200 square feet?
A. The special pallet prices shown on the website are essentially minimum quantity requirements for a particular price. If you need more square footage than we offer on a single pallet, you will get the special pallet price on the additional amount you need as well.
Q. Do I have to use an underlayment under the Classic Collection?
A. Yes, the Classic Collection requires the purchase and use of your choice of 1 of 5 approved underlayments.
The Classic Collection features a glueless locking tongue and groove for faster, less messy installations. This collection can be installed using the floating installation method over an approved floating floor underlayment. It can be used over most subfloors including wooden, concrete and even existing vinyl or tile.
The Classic Collection can be installed in Basements, First Floors and any Floor above the first.
The Classic Collection can be installed by both Professional Flooring Installers and Do It Yourself homeowners.
